Dr. Elaf Salah Ghariba, a Sudanese scientist residing in Hamburg, Germany, was today honored for her significant contributions to the secretariat of the Future Circular Collider (FCC) Week 2025 in Austria. The prestigious event, which brought together leading minds in high-energy physics, concluded its activities today, Friday, May 23, 2025.
Dr. Ghariba played a pivotal role in the seamless execution of FCC Week 2025, an international gathering focused on the future of particle accelerators. Her dedication and expertise were instrumental in the successful organization of the conference.
FCC Week 2025 was organized in collaboration with the Institute for High Energy Physics (HEPHY) of the Austrian Academy of Sciences (ÖAW).
